Kate Parker is the founder of House of Reawaken and creator of Midlife Renaissance, a personal intelligence platform designed to help people recognise patterns of growth, identity and development through thoughtful reflection and technology. Drawing on more than a decade in adult education, coaching, writing and learning design, her work explores a simple question:

What becomes possible when people truly understand themselves?

Kate Parker is the Founder & CEO of House of Reawaken, the company behind Midlife Renaissance, where her work centres on Personal Intelligence.

For more than a decade, her work has centred on helping people learn, grow and navigate change through adult education, coaching, writing and reflective practice. Although each chapter looked different, she eventually realised they had all been exploring the same question:

"What becomes possible when a person truly understands themselves?"

That question ultimately led her to create Personal Intelligence — a philosophy and emerging field of inquiry exploring how thoughtful reflection, recognition and technology can help people develop greater self-understanding, agency and meaning.

Midlife Renaissance became the first practical expression of that philosophy.

Created during Kate's own season of reinvention, the platform was born from a deeply personal frustration. After years of journalling, she realised that the most important insights rarely lived inside a single journal entry — they lived in the patterns that emerged across months and years of reflection. She built the system she wished had existed: one that could gently recognise those patterns and reflect them back over time.

Today, House of Reawaken brings together writing, education, thoughtful technology and future research around one central belief:

Agency begins with self-knowledge.

Kate lives in New Zealand and continues to explore how Personal Intelligence can help people live with greater clarity, agency and meaning.
